Platinum Edge Tutoring's success coaches perform best when they can connect effectively with students. The organization recognizes Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) as a key driver in fostering meaningful connections and supporting student success. Given recent shifts in how DEI is perceived and implemented, Platinum Edge aims to refine and innovate its DEI-related policies and programs to achieve desired outcomes while navigating an evolving landscape.

This project presents an opportunity to explore creative, research-based approaches to DEI policy and programming that enhance engagement, align with organizational goals, and address changing societal and administrative contexts.

1.    Research the current trends and challenges in DEI policies and programming across educational and tutoring organizations.

2.    Analyze recent policy changes at the local, state, and federal levels that impact DEI initiatives.

3.    Review Platinum Edge Tutoring’s current DEI efforts and identify gaps or areas for improvement.

4.    Develop DEI policy recommendations that align with Platinum Edge’s mission and values.

5.    Propose DEI programming ideas aimed at improving success coach-student connections and overall student outcomes.
