We all know that communication is critical, but what defines “good” or “great” communication? That’s the question that drives me in my work.
I believe that three key traits give communication power: precision, truthfulness, and the capacity to build value. If all three are there, your words can change minds, inspire new insights, and much more.
In my work in content creation, I strive toward this ideal each day. As an account specialist, I communicate with clients, prospects, and partners through many channels each day. My goal: To help them connect with their own customers and prospects in compelling ways. I connect them to resources, explain complex concepts in simple terms, and keep conversations flowing.
As a lifelong writer, I find that this role suits me. I am frequently refining my writing, adapting to new formats, and educating myself on a wide range of topics. In addition to these creative pursuits, I have always been interested in the latest hardware, software, video games, and online platforms. At Force 5, I can exercise my creativity and my data-focused, technology-enthusiast brain by using marketing automation, CRM, business analytics, and the latest web-based content management systems.
Other than writing, I have a broad range of marketing and communications experience, including content marketing, email marketing, social media marketing, social ads, search engine optimization (SEO), CRM administration, video editing, and web design (including knowledge of HTML). I have experience with a wide range of software, including Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales, HubSpot, WordPress, Salesforce, Google Analytics, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Premiere Pro, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Power Automate, and Power BI. Besides my professional marketing experience, I also have a personal gaming YouTube and Twitch streaming brand. I have worked in the software, transportation, nonprofit, and higher education sectors.
