About Urban League of Greater Hartford

Urban League of Greater Hartford, Inc. (ULGH) is a community-based, not-for-profit 501(c) (3). Urban League provides programs and services in the areas of Adult Education; Youth Development; Workforce Development and Training;  Economic Empowerment; and Health and Wellness.  Urban League of Greater Hartford is an affiliate of the National Urban League and was founded in 1964. The League provides services to more than 3000 area residents annually.

Our mission is to reduce economic disparities in our communities through programs, services, and educational opportunities. 

Our Core Values are to focus on empowering people in need to change their lives.  We will be:
