Project Synopsis: Challenge/Opportunity
genFEED is at the forefront of merging technology with media, specializing in innovative AI-driven solutions for video content creation. We are a startup built to serve the new generation of AI video creators. We’re building community, tools, and platforms that help video creators turn AI into storytelling, culture, and opportunity. However, the company faces a significant challenge in expanding its network of AI video creators—both professionally and within academic settings. Currently, there is a gap in engagement with creators, both local, national, and international,  which limits collaborative opportunities and hinders brand visibility. This challenge not only affects the company's outreach and networking capabilities but also compromises its potential to tap into the vibrant student body at colleges across the country, where pools of creative talent remain underutilized.
Project Synopsis: Activities/Actions Required
  1. Key activities will include research, outreach, and community engagement. Initially, students will conduct market research to identify AI video creators in the targeted geographical area and on campus. Following this, they will develop a contact strategy to initiate conversations through calls, emails, and social media. Students will analyze data to determine the best times and platforms for outreach, ensuring maximum engagement. The project will culminate in organizing a community.
  2. building event or series of workshops that connect students and creators, fostering collaboration and skill.
  3. sharing. Deliverables will include a comprehensive outreach plan, a database of creators, and a report on community.
  4. building strategies.
Project Synopsis: Expected Results
  • The expected outcomes of this project include the successful establishment of a network of at least 50 AI video creators, with a minimum of 5 scheduled calls per week and 2 community events organized by the end of the program.
  • Students will acquire practical marketing skills, including outreach and engagement strategies, while also enhancing their understanding of digital marketing and community dynamics.
  • SMART goals include: 1) Establishing contact with 30 creators by Week 2; 2) Scheduling at least 5 calls per week by Week 4; 3) Organizing 2 events with a minimum of 20 attendees each by the end of the program; and 4) Producing a final report summarizing strategies and outcomes to present to genFEED.
