| Project Synopsis: Challenge/Opportunity | WE, The World is a leading organization that excels in advocating for sustainable development and social equity. However, a significant challenge they face is the insufficient integration of gender perspectives in climate policies, which undermines the potential for effective and equitable climate action. Currently, policies often overlook the unique experiences and needs of women, particularly in contexts of natural disasters and climate impacts. This gap limits the effectiveness of climate interventions and perpetuates gender inequalities and to address them this is high time to focus on women’s equal leadership roles in the Parliament within a democratic governance systems; strengthening women’s economic empowerment and resilience in the face climate change; address GBV during natural disaster, promoting feminist climate justice based on systems thinking that will focus on interconnectedness of various issues, challenges, structures and systems and taking action to change the systems, address root causes of climate change and gender inequality to ensure sustainable future and social justice for all.
