| Project Synopsis: Challenge/Opportunity | PACT’s core programming focuses on education; education of youth, students, parents, community members, elected officials, as well as members of the private sector. The private sector has a major role in combating child trafficking, and we have two programs where they can actively engage in this work: The CODE of Conduct and Partners in Protection. Our current challenge is that, while these programs have been in existence for some time, they have not expanded, we are having difficulty securing more partners, and we realize that there is a lack of clarity in our messaging that distinguishes the two programs and truly explains what they entail. You can view the descriptions on our website.
The lack of anticipated expansion also represents a loss of revenue, as these are fee-for-service programs. |
| Project Synopsis: Activities/Actions Required | We think that we need a full scale assessment of our programs, that would include interviews with our CEO, Director of Private Sector Engagement, Director of Development, and the Chair of our Board Development Committee in order to get a full understanding of how the program currently operates, what current strategies are being used to acquire partners, what metrics need to be implemented to track success, and to identify areas for overall improvement. Some level of market research would also prove beneficial, as it would provide greater insight as to how other nonprofit organizations are using similar fee- for-service models, what their price structuring looks like, and what messaging they are using to promote these programs. Last, stakeholders research, where time and consideration is dedicated to identifying potential and best fit partners for the Partners in Protection program would help to achieve our desired results. |
