| Project Synopsis: Challenge/Opportunity | Rank the Vote seeks to overcome legislative gridlock, political polarization, and negativity by advocating for Ranked Choice Voting systems. Ranked Choice Voting gives a strong voice to all voters, and ensures candidates with the broadest support get to govern. It is a simple change that gives voters the option to rank candidates for office in the order they prefer them: 1, 2, 3.
We would like to engage in a project to understand the most effective ways to educate and get buy in from city councilors/ mayors/ officials, community organizations, and other municipal stakeholders on the benefits of proportional representation (with multi-member districts). |
| Project Synopsis: Activities/Actions Required |
|
| Project Synopsis: Expected Results | We would like to see an evidence-based, action-oriented strategy to educating each audience( (city councilors/mayors/officials, community organizations, and other municipal stakeholders). If time permits, initial testing of these approaches would be an additional benefit.
