The University of Montana Alumni Association is in the midst of launching a new program that celebrates and promotes alumni-owned businesses — Griz Owned. Efforts to collect data for the emerging program have begun, as we are currently inviting alums to self-identify their Griz Owned business (form). The opportunity (and challenge for us!) is creating a tool that seamlessly allows us to champion and promote the submitted businesses. We are interested in building an app/system that displays the alumni-owned businesses on our website and also feeds into a gift/business guide for easy shopping. 

The ability to display, promote and shop from alumni-owned businesses in a centralized place would make this project a great success. Measurable results include but would not be limited to:
