About Students

This is the capstone course of the MBA program and is offered during the last five weeks of the spring semester. The purpose of 603 is to provide students with an integrated experience. What this looks like for the Spring of 2021 is that student teams work with a client in a consulting role and are required to write a comprehensive plan (e.g., business plan, start-up plan, marketing plan, feasibility, study, product launch plan, etc.) for this client.

Project Synopsis

What is the challenge or opportunity you are trying to address within your organization?

Phoney.co is a SaaS web application that allows users to create a pseudo phone number and engage their audience in a legal and unintrusive way. The app is fully functional and has been used for casual sports teams, political candidates, and nonprofits. The next phase is to find the right way to monetize, promote and support the tool. Basically, the product exists, is functional, and is sought after, but the business side is lacking.
